Walkthrough: LabQCPro form builder

Digitizing your labs workflow with paperless QC forms can drastically decrease risk and save time. We are going to explore that further with a video and a step-by-step plan.

Let's begin

First, login to your labqcpro account. If you do not have one you can apply to get a free account for your lab with the button below

Next, navigate to the Forms tab

Click "+ New Form"

This video will walk through the rest,

  1. You should enter a relevant title then build out the sections.

  2. Each section can have many questions. Since this is an example of laboratory internal quality control, we are going to focus on kit test QC with some information about the kit.

  3. The sections are as follows:

    1. Kit Info: this contains things like kit name, expiration date, and lot number

    2. QC Results: this contains P/F information that is captured when doing the QC tests

    3. Details and Notes: relevant information and notes related to the QC test. The technician that performed the test, and important variables not included in the scope of the form can be put in the text box.

  4. Coming Soon: How to set alerts for failed tests. LabQCpro has functionality that allows supervisors to know when tests are out of specification.
